Kristin Caruso

Director of Transition Curriculum/Public Liaison

Kris Caruso was a Guard for the UConn Huskies from 1986 – 1990. She was Coach Auriemma’s first recruit in his first year as Head Women’s Basketball Coach at UConn. She had a stellar career at UConn where she was named Big East Freshman of the Year, a two-year team co-captain, and helped her team win it’s first ever Big East Tournament Championship. Kris earned her Bachelors Degree in Parks and Recreation and continued her education at UConn earning her Masters Degree in Sports Administration. She has been both an assistant and head coach at several Division I schools. As one of the Lead Instructor of Transition, Kris is responsible for the film, defensive principles, and teaches how to use your skills in a college offense.
